Too early to know if it helps my Bullterriers joints and skin but it looks good on the side of kitchen counter, doesn't smell offensive like salmon oil and my dog doesnt turn her nose up at it.

While my dog loves this and there may be other positive effects of flaxseed oil, I was disappointed to learn that dogs cannot metabolise this form of omega-3 (ALA). In order to make use of ALA it must first be converted to DHA, but dogs are highly ineffective at doing this with a conversion rate of 1-5%. So please be aware if you are purchasing this as an omega-3 supplement that it is an insufficient source compared to salmon and algae oil (already in DHA form). Buddycare please consider making an algae oil supplement so we can have a vegan omega-3 option :)

All 5 dogs got upset tummies badly , but it is difficult to slowly introduce it into their diet im sure they will get used to it and upset tums will settle
